i dunno if these ahve already been asked/answered so if they have im sorry
is there any reason that they dont post a schedule of specials ? - i would think it would be to their benefit to post what specials there would be upcoming over a 6 or 12 month period so as a collector u could plan for ur submissions instead of waiting till ur decade was the special?
and secondly why have the specials ? - granted itll generate buzz for that particular months special and generate an influx of submissions for the decade - but why not just offer those prices normally ? - is it done primarily to maybe help make the graders job easier - like each month they only need to focus on a certain type of card from a certain decade ? or is there another reason ?
thanks

If PSA posts a schedule of specials - people will just hold off on their submissions until the applicable special arises. That does not benefit PSA - which is a company that is in business to make money.
As for why are the specials not 'normal' prices, again, it is because PSA wants to make money. There are regular prices that bring in a regular amount of submissions. The specials are typically designed to allow submissions to come in that otherwise might not have been submitted but for the special. As a business - if PSA offers lower prices, they make less money. But if they can lower prices for a limited time in the hopes that new people submit, or same people submit cards they otherwise wouldn't - that supports the business model.
Think of it like a grocery store. How come Coca-Cola is not always $0.79 in 2-liter bottles?
