List your qualifications or skills and that could help place you more accurately. I can understand why you posted here and not the open forum. You know more people here, so it makes sense.

I am not sure of your situation or talents, but in general, I would advise you immediately to go to a temporary employment agency like AppleOne, Select Personnel, ManPower, TRC Staffing, Robert Half, etc. They will place you with a company according to your talents and skills. You will work full time for a designated time (1month to 6 months). By that time the company might hire you as their own employee. If not, the temp agency will place you with another company. Just be sure you go to work on time and do a good job everyday, so even if a company does not retain you, they will have nothing negative to say that will prevent the temp agency from finding new opportunities.

    Best of Luck.

Thanks everyone. DG-that is great advice. I will do that. I'm glad I posted here because that is one option I never thought of. As for my spirits, they are up. Just a little bump in the road of life.image

Happened to me a year and a half ago.

I'm happier today by far in what I do and firmly believe that these things happen for a reason. The reasons may not always be immediately apparent but the fog lifts, the spirit soars, and you fly on.
