ugh!

Ebay seller Greenwood-collectibles sells a bunch of PRO graded cards with his little 'FREE PSA' spam in the title and he keeps popping up in my searches. So I sent him this little message:

I dont understand why you (or whoever you get these cards from) would trim a nice psa 4 or 5 to make it a pro 7 or 8. It would probably sell for the same price or more in the PSA slab, and it would be a legitimate card. I do not understand why you are trying to ruin the hobby in this fashion. Plus your PSA card giveaway/Title spam is not appreciated, people searching for legitimate PSA graded cards don't want to see your junk in their searches.

I think everyone should send him their feelings about his junk cards. http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=greenwood-collectibles&frm=1728

can I report this somehow for keyword spamming? his description says 'if psa card is not available some other graded card will be sent' so is it keyword spamming? I sure hope so, cause I at least want PSA gone from his titles. Ideally I want him out of the sportscard hobby!

  • Thats one thing I can't stand about ebay. Like searching for BGS, and a thousand bccg cards come up. Same thing with PSA and all the other third rate graders.

At the bottom of every auction there is a link under the section heading "What else can you do?"

The second to last choice is "Report this item"

Click that. Then on the new screen choose the 4th item, "Listing Policy Violations (....)"

On Step 2: Choose "Keyword Spamming"

On Step 3: Choose "Inappropriate or excessive use of terms not relevant to the item"

    Then click "Continue >"

Now you have successfully reported the item.

  • When searching on ebay, you can type "-" and the word you want excluded from your searches. For example, BGS -BCCG will not return a BGS auctions with BCCG in the title. Hope this helps.
