OT: how to properly report an E-bay listing violation

When you contact E-bay regarding a violation of wording, the only channel I've found is to report the item number in "Listings Violations". Is there a way to also give them a reason WHY you're reporting along with the item number? Thanks .

They have it set up so it's cookie cutter for them, so they don't have to have many thinkers there. If you click on the bottom "report this item" it has most of the common problems.

If that doesn't work you can try here, sometimes it works and sometimes not.

Email ebay with a problem

With that one you put in the seller's ID and type in your actual problem.

If you have a "right away" problem you can try live help or call the 800 number. I've found that the 800 number is pretty useless.

Somebody here has a direct email to report fraud and get it taken care of, maybe he'll see this and add it.
