I picked up about $10 worth of silver for $4 yesterday. Picked out every silver coin in the 50% box that was there.

  • I got $6.50 face value of Canadian silver coins for $6.50 image My Fiance works at a bank, and always keeps a eye out for me she can buy all coins at face WOW
What I do not understand is Banks know silver coins come in ,Why do they not hang on to them is beyond me? Banks invest to make money so why not hoard until like now with silver over $12.00 a oz they would make out even if it took years to do this ,My girlfreind has pulled out so many old coins, and notes all at face value, I would think that the Bank would be on the look out for any thing like that? Maybe I am cutting my own throat lol . mojo

There are still many silver quarters and dimes in circulation here. I own vending machines, so I always check my quarters before turning them over to the bank. I have not caught much though because others think the same way I do.

I would be happy to buy foreign silver coins below melt on ebay but I don't know too much about coins. I am not as knowledgeable as you guys are. Whenever I go to Germany I try and hoard all the off grade Third Reich silver Marks I can find for a bulk amount.

    Wybrit:

DON'T these coin dealers at coins shows KNOW they have silver when offering at 8/$1? MAN! What I wouldn't give to have that kind of dealer around here!!! I can't WAIT till flea market season starts! It's my only hope.
