couple finds today

I've been going to an old beach in town that closed about 20 years ago. I went there again today and find a couple interesting things. I guess those are a bunch of different kinds of bullets. The matchbox is a Ferrari Berlinetta and it use to be green. It's still a little wet from rinsing so thats why it has the "wet" spots. Apprently its one of the last ones on this page...

The other 2 tractors were found on a different day. I also found a Bicentennial Washington quarter and a 1940 Jefferson nickel.

I got to detect the yard of a house that I lived in as a kid. I managed to recover a half dozen of my own personal Matchbox cars I lost. It was kind of a cool experiance.

Those are some interesting finds. I'm surprised that there are no old silver coins found.

Oddly enough, I received a 1940 nickel in change about two weeks ago.

I hope lead gets up into the silver price range because I have found a bunch of lead fishing weights and bullets at this beach. image
