ICG crossover attempt: Grades in

Here are 3 pieces I won, very cheap, from recent auctions. All are graded by ICG as MS67, the white smears are scuffs on the holders. Soon, they will be on their way for a vacation on the west coast. Should I crack 'em out 1st? or select cross at any grade? Grade opinioins welcome. I'll post mine a bit later.

I have three ICG nickels: 1955, 1956, and 1957. Two are MS66's, the other is a MS67. All three are actually Prooflike coins, that I'd grade as PL65.

I've been meaning to send them in - maybe I'll wait to see how you do image

Crack, then send. Crossing an ICG slab is the kiss of death IMO.

65, 65, 64. PCGS is getting brutal with Canadian coins.

Out of curiosity only...why crossover? I have a mish-mash of slabs and have sometimes thought about standardizing (or even, GASP) cracking 'em out and leaving them that way. But.. A) I'm lazy and B) I'm cheap.

Ding, ding, ding, ding - spot on. Filling some holes in my sets.

    IMHO - the grades are:
1940 one cent: 65 red, very slight chance at 66.
    1944 five cents: solid 65.
1957 five cents 63, coin looks baggy to me (was paired with the '44 in the lot).

I admit I have a hard time grading nickel coins - can't always tell the difference between rub and weak strike, especially on QEII.

If the 1st 2 go 65 then I will be way ahead in value. With the grading fees I'll be about $100 into them.

Oh and they will be submitted raw.

Does the 1957 appear to be a Prooflike coin?

I was delayed in sending them in by about 60 days - LOL. Decided to crack them out 1st.

Still waiting for the results of submission #9050313 - 10 of 20 items are crack-outs.
