The strike appears to be a liitle weak (may be the pic), but more importantly, you need to show a pic of the reverse (right now I would give it a 33, that's half of a 66).

    Steve,

The rev is as nice as the obv. but not quite FB.

I don't see how you can look at the obv and say weak strike. That is some of the best hair detail I have ever seen on a Merc and I have seen a lot of Mercs!

But thanks for your opinoin and responce.

No offence, but I agree,it does look like a weak strike, the lower part of
    the wing.

It looks to be a scan, and scans are impossible to grade from. There could be a margin of error as much as 4 points.

Do you have a photograph? And something that' close up?

Jon: The dime looks lovely and the wonderful strike detail in the bangs and upper wing but then whaaaaaat happened to the bottom of the wing?

The picture almost also looks it has a smuge in it possibly blocking the detail? where the lower wing is?

Are those carbon spots I also see?

I cannopt judge the luster, coloration, of of this coin which makes me want to range this coin anywhere from 64FB to 67FB.

I happen to agree with mercurydimeguy.
