Pop report - coins that have been graded by ICCS.

But what does that do? Does that tell you how yours compares with others out there, or if you have the "#1 set" I hear referenced, prices, or what? What's the significance, importance, use for it? Thx!

A pop report lists, for every date/denomination, the number of coins that ICCS as graded at each grade level.

It can be used to determine the relative availablity/rarity of certain coins as well as how many coins of a given date/denomination have been graded higher than a given coin.

On these boards you will see posts identifing a coin as, for example, pop 5/1 which would mean that 5 coins have been graded at the same level with just 1 coin having been graded higher for that date/denomination.
