Were the doors to the Temple of Hercules closed when there was peace throughout the Roman Empire?

I seem to remember a Roman coin that commemorates this. Do I have the right temple? Is my info totally wrong?

I thought it was the Temple of Janus whose doors were closed.

It was the Temple of Janus, Hercules was not a god and thus would not have had a temple.

Yep, it was Janus whose temple doors were closed in peace. The Nero coins are most famous for actually saying so on the coins.

Aethelred, even though Hercules/Herakles wasn't "fully divine", they still made some temples to him, especially in the eastern provinces. On JZ's link, a few clicks above the Janus coins, there's an aureus of Hadrian with a temple (or at least a shrine) to Hercules.
