Down to one ...

Well, with my latest submission results, I'm now down to just ONE PSA 10 copy to finish off the 1970 Kellogg's BB set in 10.00. It's been a fun trip - almost sad to reach so near the end of the quest. I've some help along the way, including one major trade with a fellow collector with a couple of minor ones, and a lot of nice raw cards sifted through and $ spent of submissions.

I'm also at 9.99 on the 1970 Kellogg's FB set, but finding a centered Mike Garrett to EVER get a PSA 10 on that set is doubtful.

I'm not sure where to go next for such an adventure. I guess I'll just keep working on the Payton set in the meantime. Just thought I'd share ...

  • Steve,
    Congrats on your accomplishment.
    Might I suggest, Hockey ? Basketball ? Non-sports ?
I already have a renewed Dav and MOSH in 60's FB as well as FabFrank, Mantlefan, Wolfbear, Skinsfan, Nearmint, Mark Van Duesen, MACPSA, Vineyard, and have for the first time last week have seen shopping Lucy. Many of us are spreading into the 50's and the 70's slowly. I am now focusing more on 60's BB inserts for a break. There is plenty of competion where I am already. Don't need anyone else actually committed and capable of winning.
Just kidding come on in there is plenty of room.
How about 71 Kelloggs both sports. Tougher than 70's. Variations. Small sets size but a good challenge.
    Good Luck where ever.

Wanted: Bell Brands FB and BB, Chiefs regionals especially those ugly milk cards, Coke caps, Topps and Fleer inserts and test issues from the 60's. 1981 FB Rack pack w/ Jan Stenerud on top.
