Did not pay.

I have a feeling that a NARU is coming soon, so it may be academic.

It's a pity really, this buyer/seller is usually pretty dependable. I left a negative, but not with anger.

  • I have only had one so far, and was kind enough to let it be with no feedback after three weeks and three
e-mails they confessed that they did not want the item.

I've had a few NPBs over the years. All have been negged.

I am hoping this character gets NARU'ed so I don't get a revenge negative, but ultimately I don't really care.

There's a loophole in the private feedback. If you go into the "about me" page for this user, you will see the recent feedbacks - all negatives and neutrals.

My NPB also has private feedback, but his Member Profile lists him as having 100% positive with a total of 82 feedback points.

Tom, has it occured to you that this otherwise dependable ebayer has had his account hijacked? In his about me page, the comments are ok till April the 7th after which every comment left is negative or neutral.

It has become very easy to hijack ebay accounts recently. The other day I received an invitation to join ebay's power seller program. This wasn't the first time, I've had similar invitations in the past but had passed on them so far. Anyway, I clicked on the link that led me to a page identical to ebay's sign up one, only the url was from Czechoslovakia. And of course there was no such invitation in My Messages in my ebay. Once you've entered username and password in any of these you're burned, by the time you realize what happened, you're in big trouble.

I feel that this is the case here, I'd try to email that guy outside ebay, especially if you've done business with him in the past.

There is too much feedback for this seller to finally kamakazi his ebay status over measley things. His account could very well be hijacked.

Naturally. Only all of the negs and neutrals except mine are from upset buyers who did not receive their merchandise. Therefore, that is unlikely. I think it could be something more serious.

    Hijacked ? Oh boy.....

This guy has just gone AWOL in exactly the same way as strangelove5 a year or two ago - By selling gold bars and kruggerands in no reserve listings for up to £10k per auction. If I'm right he has been in jail in England and South Africa for fraud. He always uses a female to front the op. In fact you can get his book on Amazon - he wrote it in jail. This account was recently selling 20th century GB matt proofs listed in Spink as "of highest rarity" - 1 or 2 a week - he had a handwritten Spink envelope and people were buying them.

Go to his me page. Click on a complainers feedback. Click 'left for others'. Click auction number.
