    I watched most of the game on TV. You shoulda waved a sign saying "Hello CU Forum" image

    Yes - ALWAYS good to see the Braves lose. The Phillies for years for some reason usually play well against the Braves. Unfortunately it's most all the other teams that give them trouble image

    And look at how well Thome is doing now. The Phils just never seem to click players together in the same year. When Thome was red hot, Wagner was hurt...when Wagner was red hot, Thome was hurt. If Thome and Wagner could have clicked in the same year, the Phils I believe would have taken home a pennant. Oh well...I'll keep rooting for the Phils feast or famine...would be nice to feast once in awhile though.

    Myers looked like a stud, first time ever 1-0 at Coors. Lieber is a WASTE. Im hoping that Abreu will show he is a stud even in the
    non-roids era.

    Of course the NL East goes the same way every year......Phils lead the division come All Star break..Mets not far behind, after that
    the Phils lose 20 of their next 22 and the Braves play .800 ball and walk away with it.

    Maybe if we are 15 games in front we can hold them off, but it doesn't look like it.

    Myers was great in Colorado. Hope that Utley can come through sometime this year. Phillies pitching seems to be their Achilles' heel, but what do you expect of a team that lost some key players and barely spent a dime in the offseason? I hope that it turns around for them soon.

    What's funny is that they are decent on the road and completely terrible at home so far. Livan Hernandez wins the triple crown if he plays the phillies every night image
