Noticed in the Robert Edwards Auctions that a huge lot of 697 Dormand Gil Hodges postcards are up for auction. Apparently this was the rare postcard. Not that this is a hot issue, but I'm curious to see what the effect is on prices.

I couldn't believe when I saw that. Unless the person who buys the lot burns them all except 1 or 2, the ones that were bought when they were thought to be scarce are now worth pennies on the dollar for what was originally paid for them. Anything not in a 9 or 10 holder is equivalent a 1980's Topps semi-star card in an 8 or lower holder.
