Crosby who?

Check out this Ovechkin video. (a little cheesy with the music and the ending but a nice highlight reel)

What a rookie campaign.. 77 GP... 49 goals... 51 assists... 100 points (4 more games left in the season, I'm sure he's not done)

Its fixed if Crosby wins the Calder.

  • I can almost guarantee you that Ovechkin will win the Calder Trophy.

All this talk about the NHL "fixing" things so Crosby can win it is a little far-fetched. That said, I disagree with people bashing Crosby. Sure, Ovechkin has had a better season, but Crosby has had a great one as well. The people bash Crosby for whining too much forget that a certain No . 99 that played for Oilers had the same reputation when he first entered the league.

  • Ovechkin hands down. If its even close, people are only voting on what they read, rather than what they've seen. Crosby has had his moments, but Ovechkin defiantely is a harder worker with the puck........

They both have put the fun back in hockey. Ovechkin has had some incredible goals, including that one some call the greatest goal ever. Yeah, Ovechkin should win easily enough.

I normally don't buy hockey cards, but I picked up a few packs of UD and Fleer. I did get the Crosby out of UD and the Ovechkin out of Fleer.

I think either way, both these guys are gonna be a force in the league for years to come. And us lucky fans get to watch and come along for the ride!
    Looking for Carl Willey items.

I like watching both those guys, in my opinion Ovechkin has a bit of an advantage being a little older and more mature. I'm not saying Ovetchkin isn't better, just that a year makes a big difference at that young age.

It'll be interesting to see which one of those guys ends up having the better career. They both had great rookie seasons, but Ovechkin should definitely get the Calder nod. I've only bought a few new hockey cards over the last couple of years but I've actually been checking out auctions for their RC's.
