Don't you hate it when you miss the end of an auction you had planned to bid on???? Maybe I should quit sniping.

<< <i>I don't use an e-snipe service...just manually. Sometimes I try to get too cute and snipe with only a few seconds (2-3) remaining. I'll sometimes be way off in my timing and when I click the Submit button, I get an "sorry, auction has ended" message. I've done this on some cards I really wanted. >>
I've played the "trying to be too cute" game also and have lost out on some great stuff that went for peanuts. Sometimes it was my computer during a slow period and sometimes my timing was off, but I'm still kicking myself in the butt......

<< <i>You may have thought that you lost out for peanuts, but you have no idea how much higher someone may have set their snipe. >>
No. I've been on Ebay so long, and know everyones bidding patterns, so I try and get too cute by checking what people have a "habit" of bidding (37.86, 41.29, 46.72, etc)that I try and do something stupid by winning the auction for less than a nickel more. Just a heads up to anyone who always uses the same dollars and cents number. I'm not talking about the one of a kind items where snipes are set at infinity, but the everyday stuff you like to pick up for a good price.........
<< <i>Thanks Theo. I knew there were services, but I hadn't signed up for any. Anybody else use services like this? Any suggestions? >>
Auctionstealer gives you 3 free snipes per week. Justsnipe gives you an additional 5. If you don't need more than 8 snipes per week, I'd stick to these two.
If you need more than 8 snipes per week, I recommend Justsnipe, $5 per month for unlimited snipes.
