Home Trading Cards & Memorabilia Forum

hello all....

Hey everyone, I'm new to the boards and am a new PSA member. I recently submitted the 6 free grades with a five day turn-around and I was wondering if there's any chance I'll get these back before the 5 days? ha...I know its wishful thinking, but just thought I'd ask. I'm somewhat new to grading and have submitted a few cards to BGS and I heard good things about PSA so I thought I'd give it a try...I dont think I'll be disappointed.

Anyways, I've been reading the boards and you guys have some interesting things to say about the differences between PSA and Beckett grading. Those were very interesting reads...

    Welcome to the boardsimage

I think you'll love it around here, I know I do. Some very knowledgeable people here, I've learned a ton in my short time.

What 6 cards did you send in? What grades are you expecting? From personal experience, I was disappointed with my first submission but I was extremely green then. Your eye will get better.

I've joined psa three different times and each time with the 6 free submissions, the grades did post in the allotted number of business days. This of course doesn't include shipping time.

    Welcome again.

  • I sent in:

    1985 Fleer Clemens-hoping for a 9
    2000 SPx Oswalt-hoping for a 9
    2 1989 UD Griffeys- hoping for 9's
    1991 Stadium Club B. Favre-hoping for a 10...I couldn't find anything wrong with it, but we'll see
03-04 UD Standing "O" LeBron Rook... hoping for a 9

If I don't get what I'm hoping for, it should give me an idea on what to look for on my next submission...

  • Mark,
Welcome to the boards! There are some really great people here on these boards. I am also new to the grading process and have found that everyone is very helpful and friendly on here. There are people on here that can help you out on anything that you have a question about. I have felt welcome since the first day that I signed on to the boards.
