Anyone interested in the "chief" of the Indian Cent varieties (according to Cherrypickers)? This is the FS#009, Breen 1986, Snow-1 variety recognized by both PCGS and NGC.
I have an opportunity to buy an AU Damaged 1873 Doubled Die Cent. The coin has a high end AU appearance, but it appears that someone tried to punch a hole in the coin. My friend who has the coin said the punch is nowhere near through the coin, and without the punch it would be a $5,500 plus coin.
I do not have coin in hand, but can have it sent up for pictures if anyone is interested.
I would need $1,750 for the coin.
Let me know.
