eBay Best Offer Question . . .

Does the best offer submitted by potential buyer include shipping? Perhaps I did not read the fine print!

Just wondering.

I have done several and none of them have included shipping charges.

  • Ditto on the "no". It should state so in your auction, unless you advertise "Free shipping with BIN".
  • Occasionally I get offers where the buyer will include a message with something like "price shipped" or "total inclusive of shipping" - otherwise the normal listed shipping price has always been sent on the invoice. No one has complained yet...

I thought you had the option to click an icon that stated shipping included. I'm not a big fan of the best offer option. It's seems the people who use it are true dipsh*ts...it's ridiculous to put best offers on $5 cards, and then reject offers for $4, I've had that type of thing happen on numerous occasions.

I agree with dunner or the low cost items, but I bought a PSA 10 89 Topps #113 1 of 1 hockey for a whopping $2,025 under Buy it Now and I specified delivered and insured!

I agree with people offering only a couple of dollars off works almost every time with me. Some people try $20 on a $40 item, and I usually say no thanks. But a few dollars is usually fair.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

I'm not sure what is worse - a seller rejecting a $4 offer on a five dollar card, or a buyer doing his damndest to squeeze the seller for every last possible cent by offering a dollar less than the big 5 bucks being asked...
  • If the offer is rejected, is it all or nothing or can you resubmit an offer?

imageGood question ROOKIE ! Welcome to the best sourse available! When I have been refected on a Best Offer, I was not given a second chance. Not sure if the option is limited to one by Ebay or the seller.

Usually if I offer The seller a Best Offer it is for a large lot of cards, I recently offered a seller $3.50 on every card he had listed @$5.00, However, I bought over 100 cards and he accepted every offer.
