Question about 1963 Fleer Nick Buoniconti

How much do you think a nicely centered PSA 8 would cost? The pop is 40 with 9 higher (don't quote me on the # of 9's - but I think there are 9). Does anyone have a clue? I really want one, and it appears a tough card above EX-MT.

Just bought one a few days ago--I would say price is about $175 for a psa 8 but it is not easy to find.

Thanks Jim. I was thinking in the $200 to $250 range - so I'm in the ballpark. Congrats on completing the 1963 set - that's one of my favorites.

The centering on this particular card makes a pretty big difference in price range. Anywhere from $125-$250...I've never seen one sell for over $250, but I also haven't seen one sell on ebay in probably 8 months, and based on the current market its possible the card could go for double that.

At one point in late 2004, there were like 5 Buoniconti RCs listed within like a month or so of each other. That's when I picked mine up for only $90, but the centering on it is 67/33 L/R...Which explains the cheap price...The rest of the card is immaculate..lol

There are seven PSA 9's of this card, but personally I've never seen one up for auction anywhere...

    Good luck in your search,
    Jason

If anyone has a nicely centered 7, I'd be very interested. Heck for that matter, I'd be interested in a not so nicely centered 8. image

A poorly centered PSA 8 sold early in March for $190. That was the first Buoniconti I had seen in a long time.

I saw that one - the centering was terrible. It should have been an 8oc

If an off-centered one just sold for $190, you can imagine the hammer for a 50/50 one...Probably double that...Will be fun to watch the fireworks if one ever pops up...
