  • bargainland-liquidation ( 136843) If I have my math right this guy has had negative feedback of 11% so over 15,000 buyers are not happy campers!!!!! here is a beauty of his...This item appears to be in 'like new' or 'excellent' condition. This product may have been 'open box product' or it may have been briefly used for a short period of time. The product appears to be complete (but we can not be 100% certain) and should perform all intended uses / functions (although we do not test in depth). If this product is electronic in nature we have confirmed that it does power on / boot up, however, we do not have the time or knowledge to test full functionality. As with all liquidation products this is sold 'as is' and what you see in the photo is what you are bidding on.

My focus, 1970 Topps Baseball Raw and Graded, pre 1989 PSA Hockey and 1933 INDIAN GUM ! Yikes!!
  • I can't believe the seller can still sell on Ebay with all those negative feedbacks. Even if you look at the percentages(11% negative) it's totally unacceptable. I think Ebay looks the other way based on high volume/dollar sellers.
  • Again, Ebay needs quality competition really bad!!!

Ya, quality competition. That is very key to the way Ebay can treat their customers.

I wonder if Paypal would have started their own auction site or joined with somebody else besides Ebay. Do you think this would have created some competition in the internet auction market?
    Trying to complete:
    2000 Bowman Chrome
    2002 Topps Heritage NAP
2003 Topps Heritage chrome and seat relics
2006 Topps Heritage refractors and relics
2007 Topps Heritage refractors and relics
2008 Topps Heritage refractors and relics
2006 Topps Heritage and Topps Chrome football
  • I guess he'll just have to start buying those gmail accounts for a penny on ebay to raise his feedback rating.
  • He has 10200 items up for auction right now. Even at the store rate that's what, 2 cents an item? $200 a week in fees from listings, not including the final value fees. Hell, his feedback could be only 11% positive and Ebay will do nothing about it. Too much money at stake here for Ebay...
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

Looking for Al Hrabosky and any OPC Dave Campbells (the ESPN guy)
  • $200 a week in fees? maybe for $20,000 a week in fees Ebay might give you the benefit of a doubt? Here is a big fish that was recently NARU'djust so you know it is not always about the $$$.

I think with bargainland - ebay realizes its a crap shoot and everyone who get something not to there liking is going to complain ---
at the same time 89% is extremely low -- 1 in 10 is unhappy.

that's like eating at the restaurant downtown connected to the radiator shop -- and then complaining that your food tastes a little oily.

I would bet this is because Ebay's fees are late not because of poor/misleading customer treatment.

wonder what Wal-Mart's feedback would be or for that matter any other brick and mortar if they had a similar feedback system. I've personally bought from this guy before and I was happy. I understand that 1 out of 10 people are unhappy, but that's a whole lot of happy customers. Not sticking up for the guy, but Jesus was only able to please 11 out of 12.

Not sticking up for the guy, but Jesus was only able to please 11 out of 12.

Very tacky and offensive reference gstarling, especially in holy week.

I am sure you and your ACLU buddies got a big laugh out of it.

Using your thinking it is ok for the surgeon working on a member of your family to screw 11% of the time, or the guy replacing the brakes in your car to get it right only 89% of the time. I hope I am not on the other end of the 911 call when the police or fire dept decide that it is acceptable to miss every 9th call. image

It is that wonderful thinking that has made us believe that getting A's in school is for overachieving morons, who needs to work I'll just play on the World Poker Tour and if I don't get my way I'll sue you.

For many of us when we sell a product be it on E-bay we take pride in telling the truth and sending it in a timely manner.

Wo, wo wo. That's actually something my pastor says almost weekly. I'm actually a middle of the road, slightly right leaning conservative in Oklahoma. That would make me a right wing nut job to you on the coasts image . I've been attending church since I was born, my brother and two uncles are pastors. I teach theology adjunct at the local Christian College. That's not tacky at all. It's a great analogy that you can't please everyone all the time. Ease up a bit.

And I do sell on eBay. A LOT, actually. I've dealt with the guy and I received a good product for the price. I also went to U of Okla. on a full academic ride so I'm not sure where the adademic slam came from. It's not like I went after you as some Falwell or Robertson ditto head. Take a breath.

Oh, and surgeons mistakes kill more people every year in America than guns.
