would you ever consider being a member of a syndicate owning a collection?

If so why?

If not why not?

  • I guess it would depend on how much access I would have to the coins to study them.

No. I collect coins for the enjoyment of the hobby. The investment part of it is a secondary benefit.

I would not want to own a portion of coins that I never see. And who is to run this syndicate? Just look at what happened in Ohio with the Noe fiasco. No thanks, I'll go it alone - I can trust myself.

Never. I either want full control over them or no control.

Given the right circumstances, I probably would. Perhaps the coin(S) could be "time-shared". image

As a dealer or investor, yes.

    As a collector, no.
