They're going to be issued July 15th in New York (first day of issue ceremonies).

They'll be available July 16th across the country.

Very classic looking artwork. I don't think it said who the artist was?

I like the Campy. I was just looking at his stats and Campy had one of the best arms to second in the history of baseball!

In total, catchers have thrown out people over 60% of the time in 8 seasons. Campy holds the record at 68% and has 5 of the 8 times it has been done!

It's a shame his career was cut short to 10 yrs.

Thanx for sharing - the stamps will look great!

"Artist Lonnie Busch of Franklin, North Carolina based his designs on historic photographs, simplifying and adapting the portraits to resemble old-fashioned baseball trading cards. He also created the stamp art for Greetings from America (2002), 2004 Olympic Games * Athens, Greece (2004) and Wonders of America: Land of Superlatives (2006)."

Looking for Jonny Gomes cards, especially Triple Threads and printing plates. Will consider all cards, though. Got something? Contact me at c_u_l_1@yahoo.com
