Does the coin move inside the rattler a little bit? If yes, it's genuine. Seriously, someone in Chicago was telling us that these (highly sought after by many collectors) first generation PCGS holders have been copied to perfection (from China I believe) ,and they're actually even better than the original, but a trained eye, such as Conder's for instance, can surely tell the difference.
I've owned a couple of these, both US coins, a very nicely toned Oregon 50c MS63 from newsman and a Morgan ,both sold now. I kind of like them. Nice buffalo.

I was looking at the enlarged pictures of the coin ( which is absolutely beautiful btw ) when the Mrs walked in. Guess what she said ?
"I think that I like the American coins"
American or not - could she be starting to take a little interest in the coins ?
I recently bought an MS65 St Gaudens 1911-D and an MS64 1908 $2.50 Indian head and these are her favourite two in my collection.
I don't think that she likes ZARs.
