Guess The Grade II - Can you tell the difference between a 5 and a 10

One of these is a PSA 5, the other a PSA 10. Neither has any wrinkles, paper loss, creases, edge chipping front or back... I can't figure it out. Can you tell which is the 10 and which is the 5?

whichever one the 5 is has to have a wrinkle of some sort.
  • I would guess the one on the right, but agree, there must be a crease or the grader saw a Phantom one while grading...

Mystery #2 - this should disspell the wrinkle possibility since a wrinkle automatically takes it down to a PSA 5.

The 6 blanda looks out of focus compared to the other one, not sure if that would get it to a 6 but it is blurry.

    10 L, 5 R
  • I am going to guess the card on the right has the lower grade. You can see how the yellow border bleeds over into the card on the top when you compare both side by side.

  • I'm going out on a limb to say 5L, 10R
  • My guess is that the card on the left is the 5, and the right a 10. It may be an optical illusion, but the right border of the card on the left seems to be narrower at the top than the bottom as though the card were cut slighly at an angle when hand cut. Similarly, the right border on the Blanda on the right doesn't seem perfectly straight. However, once again, this may be an illusion.

I will reserve judgement until I hear from DaBigHurt.

  • I agree with Muchuckwagon, the yellow border on the top and right side bleed over.
  • The PSA 5 is also missing some on the yellow border on the right side of the card. This shows up when you compare the size of the yellow border near the bottom white around the name.
