Really? The Packers, with or without Favre, are probably going to be mediocre this season...so, you already have 3 crap games on the schedule.

I thought I read where Sunday night games weren't going to be chosen until the week before the actual game.

I disagree on the bad game part, seeing if Favre does come back and make this officially his last season, the ratings should still be good because of that reason. The team still may be less than average or average at best, but like I said, the ratings still will be there.

Sunday Night games are only affected weeks 10+.

<< <i>The system will be in effect for Weeks 10-15 and Week 17. Week 16 will be excluded because it is a holiday week. Week 10 this season starts Nov. 12.

Under the plan, there will be no Sunday night matchup listed in flex weeks. All games in the eastern half of the nation will be listed as noon Central time. Games in the West will be listed as 3:05 or 3:15 p.m.

Sunday night matchups will be chosen by the NFL, in consultation with TV networks, from the pool of Sunday afternoon games and announced 12 days in advance. The league also might shift afternoon games between the early and late slots.

In Week 17, the decision to move a start time can be made with only six days notice. >>

I find that hard to believe. One Packers-Bears game of course, maybe, MAYBE, a Packers-Vikings game but having a third game with the expected to be poor Packers would be a bit crazy?

  • I'm not surprised.

They will be better than last year for sure, I wouldnt be shocked to see them win the division.

I hear that NBC got some of the best matchups. Makes sense since
they are paying a ton of money for the rights fees and the NFL
wants to see them get high ratings.

Of course matchups that look good before the season starts
don't always work out that way.
