Do you get a partial refund in this scenario?

I recently won an auction where the runner up was NARU'ed during the bidding period. Same day the auction ended, I think. Anyway, I know if the NARU'ed person wins an auction it goes to the runner up, but my question is, should I be compensated for the difference between his final bid and my winning bid.

Thanks.

I can't see the seller being responsible for this so I would say no.
  • compensated from who? the seller? Not his fault.... Ebay?? Good Luck

I realize it's not the seller's problem, but, technically they are losing $$$ if the NARU'ed person wins the auction. I just didn't know if all of the person's bids would ultimately be cancelled, not just his winning bids.
  • You get no refund and believe it or not i have actually been paid by winning bidders that were naru'd after the auction ended.

Yeah, one time in my ignorance, I bought an '84 Pawtucket Clemens in a GEM holder. BGS rejected it as a fake. This was like 4-5 months after I bought it. When I went after the seller, I noticed that he was NARU'd. Anyway, I found an old message with the person's email. Figuring I had nothing to lose, so I sent him a message. To my surprised, the guy actually apologized and refunded me my money even all this time had past.
