Any Mexican coin fans out there?

This is a great coin and I personally like the Caballito better than the Railroad,(my local dealer likes the railroad) however it could be argued both of this coins are among the nicest ever struck in Mexico during the twentieth century! This is the 1914 with mintage of 120,000, lowest in the series.

The coin is graded AU 50 and my pricing guide list XF at 950 and UNC at 3,000 how do you determine AU 50 price? TIA

not a bad example and this is the rare date of the series. I am not sure what a fair AU price is... I would think 1200 is likely fair.

Nice coin. Caballito Pesos are one of my favorites too. I would think the $1200-1400 range would be a fair value, but thats just my guess. Tried looking on Don Bailey's site, but he doesn't have a 1914 listed.
  • i like older un and dos pesos ....got any

This is a first year issue I believe and one of the easiest years to find. Can normally be had in beautiful mint state condition for a little over $200.
