    Wow! Is nothing safe?

Depending on what I'm trying to access on Ebay (discussion boards, account preferences, history, messages, adding an item to watched list), I get prompted to re-sign in every other day. Now I have to watch those sign-in requests too? Unbelievable.

I would say to just be careful when you are prompted for the user/password combo. there are places where it is normal to get prompted and there are places where it is not - viewing an auction should NEVER prompt for user/password because anybody (including people who are not registered on ebay) can view current auctions.

  • I recently was prompted to sign-in to eBay, after i had already signed in 15 minute's previous..... When i looked at the sign on the toolbar, Where it usually start's out https:, The was no s? instant red flag. Then when i looked further the site said http:www2???? i quickly closed out the screen and went to the eBay page that i normally use, Guess what, it said i was already logged in....... What's up with that? Anyone else had this experience?

    Thanx, ozzysdad.
