Thumbnail indent

What does an indentation - like you could get from pressing on a card with a thumbnail do to its likely PSA grade?

Is it a 5 (surface wrinkle)? I've got a couple nice ones that I've not submitted. They don't show up too well in a scan though - but am sure you know what I am talking about.

  • Send it to BGS. I had a PSA 5 cross to a BGS 8.5 (seriously)

I have also had (I know this is on a lower grade scale) a 1956 Topps Spahn cross from a BGS 2 to a PSA 4.

Good question. I actually just received a 49 Bowman card with a thumbnail indentation on it this week and was wondering the same thing.

Somebody give us the answer please! Mine are just 1975's, but otherwise beautiful. Anyone else have any graded cards with the indentation?
