wow fan throws syringe on the feild..

no needle in it they said. but threw it right at bonds.. the more this happens the more i hope he hits 65 this year.. bc they are testing now right? what if he hits that many when they are testing? what will people say the juice didnt matter?

    This is completely indefensible - what moron would throw a needle at bonds?

    Come on, we all know it was the 'clear' and the 'cream' he used - sheesh!


    Seriously, though, to say the juice didn't matter? If that's the case, if steroids don't help, if they don't make a drastic difference, why would these athletes risk their lives, their health, and their reputation by using them?

    If this happened in NY we would all have to hear about those obnoxious and classless NY fans .... anyway, there are better ways to protest the steroid issue. I saw a guy with a big "asterik" sign he was holding up in the stands. That is a much better way to show displeasure.

    Better ways perhaps, but this is still pretty funny. And as far as I'm concerned Bonds has got whatever's coming to him. People don't want to see Babe Ruth or Aaron's HR marks bumped down a notch by a cheater, so they have a right-- at least within reason-- to show their disgust however they see fit. If it didn't have a needle in it it's not much of a problem IMO.

    Actually NY fans are not the most obnoxious and classless, that tile goes to Philly fans.

    You NYers are a close second though...boo some santa clauses and maybe cheer when someone on the Red Sox gets seriously injured...you can be #1 yet!

    Throwing anything on the field is a no no .... but I see your point. No harm, as meaningless as throwing a beach ball onto the field.

    If I was in manufacturing, I would make a big orange foam syringe with black writing on it that says "Bonds Juice" or something like that....then go to all of the away ballparks and sell them on the street before the games! Would I make a fortune or what!

    I heard about this over the radio driving into work today. As much as I despise Bonds, that was really uncalled for. This was really a low class act.

    I was at Tiger stadum many years ago (1960s) and some idiot(s) were throwing firecrackers onto the
    field. These were not kid stuff but M80's or something more powerful like that. I remember it made a
    very loud bang and left a cloud of smoke. I'm not sure if they caught the person(s) doing it but I saw
    security people looking closely at a certain area of the stands trying to figure out where they were coming
    from. My guess is they were using a slingshot to get them out on the field. I believe they shot off half
    a dozen at least.

    Again, throwing anything on the field is a no no BUT I don't give once ounce of credit to Bonds and I never will. Hopefully the public scrutiny gets WORSE for him. But in a civil manner.
