New guy looking for some help

I am very interested in metal detecting. I had one as a kid (cheap kid version). I am interested in getting into the hobby. Could you post some sites that sell detectors and offer some advice on what to buy. I am very green, any help or advice would be great.

    Get a name brand, Whites, tesoro, minelab, ... Pick a detector for what you want to find. If you want to dig relics pick a relic detector, ect. I would also not recommend a cheapo detector as you will find nothing. If you pay over $200 for a reputable brand you should be ok. Be sure it has an Visual target ID.

    Also you can't spell suck without KSU. Rock Chalk Jayhawk!!!!
