Question about a rare test issue

I have a 1969 Topps 4-1 card that features Mike Shannon, Bob Gibson WS Game 1, Jose Pagan, and Tom Phoebus. By the way, this card is in superb condition and I will probably send it in to PSA.

Here is my question. I understand these cards to be little miniature stickers. I do not see the dividing line for each sticker. It looks like all one piece. Are they all like this? Some like this? I am just making sure what I have. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You might have a proof card. All the four in ones are 4 individual stickers, and sometimes are found with a little line between the top 2 stickers (about 3/4's of the way down) almost always earning them a MK qualifier...

Definately looks like a proof card. I dont think PSA grades proofs though I might be wrong. How did you acquire it?

I don't think PSA grades the proofs either--at least they haven't up to this point. I owned a proof sheet of these about 13 years ago for a short while, and there were no cut lines between the players. It was later cut up and sold as singles.

What is the value of a proof? Is it more or less than the regularr issue? Also, if you will notice "the topps vault" on eBay has had some proofs, but they are black and white.

From what I've seen, the '69 4-in-1 proofs (like you have) are valued almost the same as the regular cards (maybe slightly less). I used to see the proofs priced pretty much higher (back in the Alan Hager days).

All of those vault proofs (IMO) are way over priced. The proof market seems to have cooled way down since thier heyday in the 90's. Alan Hager sells (or has sold) a lot of them on Ebay and he usually will take 70.00 (Best Offer) for a proof like yours

If you're looking for a price quote--I'd put it at about $55.
