I see you're a muscle car guy - those are really nice!

I don't sell and have never sold anything from my collection - I don't think could would part with anything of value - unfortunately. So, I'll have to take them with me! LOL

    Thanx for sharing.
BTW, I would like a 56 Chevy - in classic two tone - maybe white and blue.

I dont sell many cards but when I do, I use the money to buy more cards. I sell used outdoor power equipment and plant cuttings on ebay and again, I just use the $ to buy more cards. image
  • Are those Jersey tags on the car?

I don't have a picture, but I did sell several cards last year to pay for my camera. I bought an Olympus Evolt E-500 Digital SLR camara. With all the goodies and accessories, I had to scrape up a little over a grand. I don't miss the cards (that I sold) today near as much as I love my new camera! Like I said... I'd post a pic... but it's hard to take a picture of the camera!

I've sold some cards to help pay for a get-away to Vegas... FU#%ing Vegas! THOSE CARDS I DO MISS!

Sorry, nothing near as sweet as those rides coho...

ALWAYS Looking for Chris Sabo cards!

  • All of my "Old School Images" are the result of card sales. I also purchased two baby cribs, a changing table, and oodles of supplies.

this is my other charger. it is going to be torn apart then come to life again within 2 years. the dang engine i am going to put in it is going to cost me right around $14000 for just the engine. i am going to make it a hemi daytona custom. i think i am going to have to be buried in that puppy when i die.

i am from the riverside area but i do drive them to the shore sometimes.
  • A Daytona custom? Are you thinking about putting a nose piece on it and a rear wing?

Coho-did you happen to see the Overhaulin' episode where they redid the '67 Charger? Put a 426 Hemi in it with a shaker...thing was unreal! (It reaired last night again)

    Nice rides by the way.

daytona custom -yea. idea is still up in the air. may just be a hemi charger. i can go either way but have to decide in the next month though as the back window has to be cut out if going with the daytona. they have different windows. chargers vs. daytona chargers.

coho - it sounds like you know a little about mopars. How hard is it going to be for this car to be re-tagged? It's supposedly an original hemi gtx car. I know the guy who bought it, he paid $21K rolling.

Not from the sale of cards but I'm still happy to have this

Could also go with a Magnum 440 as opposed to the 426 Hemi. Either way, I wish I was lucky enough to have either choice. My uncle was the owner of a SuperBird way back when, and it was a real head turner just for how outlandish it looked at the time....

jim, holy moly. no idea what to tell you on that. what a shame. hurts to look at it. sweet vette.

ballballfanatic... superbirds and daytonas still look outlandish. here is the thing. its costing me roughly $45k in and out for the hemi charger and $50k as daytona. either scenerio being with the 426 hemi. now i prefer the charger esp since the year is off (1968 vs. 1969) for a daytona, but in case of a pinch, i could easily unload the daytona. for the investmed money as opposed to the charger. real tough call. i thought of the 440 also, but i think eventually i will come across and original 440 charger instead of building it. thanks for the input. i think the daytona would grow on me. i hated the color of my green charger when i bought it, but i love it now.
