OT - If you hate Sunday Nite Cause of Monday Blues - Jump In

My brain thinks it's an hour earlier - so going to sleep is gonna blow.

Plus I hate Sunday nite and always have.

Anyone else feel this way?

The weekend goes so fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I thought you was retired. I figured people didn't even know the day of the week when they retired.

    As Bum Phillips said, when asked how he was spending his retirement: "I'm not doing a damn thing, and I don't start until noon."

    Sunday night? You mean Friday night! I'm off on Mondays & Tuesdays, so I'm on my weekend! Having a beer right now - too bad the Indians-White Sox game is delayed. Looking forward to opening day tomorrow - maybe I can catch the Braves & Dodgers on TV. NOMAH!

    I still have an office and work mon, tues and thur's.

    But ya know, Sunday has always plaqued me - from grade school on...

    I'm not sure when I'll hang it up - probably by 70?

    Well Mike, I'm with ya. Sunday night's are a bummer, even more so when it's the end of say a week's vacation.

    But on the bright side . . . this is Final Four weekend, followed by opening day (actually tonight is the official start of baseball, tomorrow for the Tigers), followed by the Master's next weekend, followed by the NHL and NBA playoffs. Add to that the fact that spring is in the air. C'mon Mike, cheer up, life's good!

    Are you sure you just aren't having Heritage withdrawals?

    Ya know, the Masters is the only golf event I watch...

    Something about the Augusta National.

    I set my calendar/clock by sporting events and always have.

    OK guys, it's time to fess up.

    When I was a kid, I operated boats, flew in UH60s, was commissioned in the Infantry and slept on the ground in all kinds of climate.

    Then I went back to school - I am a dentist and never know what to expect from people - especially on a monday morning! LOL

    Especially tonight, as we lose an hour's sleep, but I hate Sunday nights as well. But, tommorrow is Opening Day, and the NCAA Championship at night - so there is a bright side.

    I dont mind Sunday nights...Sunday night is my hump night! No, not talking with the girlfriend...but at work. I work 3 nights a week...Sat, Sun, and Mon...the other 4 days I have off! So tomorrow night is my Friday! Wooo hoooo! image

    Except for the football aspect, I've always hated Sundays. It used to be the lead-in to the school week. Now it's even worse.

    My wife teaches 2nd grade and kinder and I totally understand your sentiments.

    She's counting the days - it's been a tuff year with 3 possible ADHD's - and of course, whenever she talks to the parents there's the potential of "killing the messenger!"

    So, I definitely feel your pain.

    I got thru monday morning great!!!
