Detecting for Aluminum cans

I had a new first today. Usually you don't want to find Aluminum cans. Today I was picking up a stash of Aluminum cans in a grassy area. After picking up over 4000 I decided to see how many I had missed under the grass and used the detector to pick up several buckets more.

Well, I wouldn't mind finding a cache of 4000 aluminum cans. A few weeks ago the recycle place was giving
.70 cents per pound for cans. Not sure what it's going for now, but it still has to be high. Wonder how many
trips to the recycle place that would be.

I got 57 cents per pound and had about 750 pounds with some others. I figured I made $80 from this spot in about 5 hrs total.

We get 5 sents a can here in NY.
