Bracelet find...

Wasn't going to post this one, but since we appear to be lacking in the jewelry category for March... thought I'd post this find from a couple weeks ago.
Between rain storms here in CA, I was able to get out a few times for some quick, short hunts. While detecting at a park, I hit this signal that was sounding-off around the nickel range so I dug. Out popped this bracelet and I didn't think much, because I figured if it was really silver, it would've sounded more like the higher ranges of penny/dime.
Today when I took the pics, I noticed the marking on the bottom = 925. When I first found it, I was looking under the top part and didn't even bother to check the inside of the bottom. I know some jewelry can have "false" markings... so, I'm not sure about this one.
This one is off to the jewelry box.
Maybe one of my daughters will want it some day?
Happy hunting,
Rick

Have you found that silver bracelets sound lower and close to the nickel range? I would have figured it would have more silver than a dime... maybe due to the shape it sounds differently? I know the chain-link silver bracelets sound lower, but this style is a first so I'm not sure.
This is a good detecting motto:
>>if you get a good solid repeatable signal from every angle of sweep, dig it! <<
Wonder how many of us ever passed up a nickel that was actually a piece of jewelry.

Or a pulltab for that matter.
John- I'm sure I've passed up a lot more pulltabs than I have jewelry! (haha)
Tim- My daughter is almost 3 and if it didn't fall off her wrist, she'd be wearing it (told me today- "I like it.")
Nice find on the braclet !!!
My detecting this last month has been minimal,, what I found wont compete so no photo no entry ,, perhaps this month will be better and I will give you run for the prize !!
gotta dig those iffy signals !!!
