Jack the sole MS69 PCGS 1919 Lincoln is just part of this amazing set of lincolns put together buy a master grader and gutsy collector Stewart Blay.
Man o man! Stewart Blay must be some kind of legend! Did I say legend? Damn Legend! Anyway, It seems impossible that someone could put together such an incredible set. It's going to be a great opportunity for Lincoln collectors. When is the sale anyway?
I saw the day of the post and replied on that day as part of the joke. I found it particularly funny when thebigeng replied and explained to me what the "Blay Lincolns" were. He even gave a glowing snipet about the man behind the collection. I just found it humorous, althought thebigeng had no way of knowing that I first met Stewart almost 20 years ago. So, I thought I'd just continue the joke a bit with my last post. It's a challenge to convey the nonverbal aspects of our communication through written means.

Edited to add: P.S. I am fully aware that it will be a cold day in heII when Stewart finally sells.
Twentysome replies and not even a peep from Stewart, yet. C'mon Stewart, what do you think about Lloyds proposal? Rename your set to "The Big Apple Lincolns."
April Fools? Damn ... guess we need to redesign that catalogue cover now!
Stewart, remember, I'll still be here when your estate decides to part with them. Slip my card in with your will and life insurance policies, would you?
I believe due to the fact Laura shows up at all the auctions he attends, and David Hall told him to "pound sand" regarding upgrades, his heart condition has deteriated - thus he is uninsurable...

TDN,
