Where to look for accurate pricing??

I'm picking up a small lot of coins today for a very reasonable price. A lot of GB large cents, including some MS Victoria's and King Georges.
Where can I research prices without having to buy Krause books??
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Ken

Your local public library probably has Krause - at least the 20th/21st Century volume. If it doesn't have the 19th Century volume ask the librarian about getting it for you on an inter-library loan.
In California there is a website with links to the catalogs of most of the public libraries in the State, so try Googoling for a similar site in your state. On occasion I've found something I was looking for in a nearby library, and other times I was able to tell my local librarian where to find something for me.
