do any of you dealers have bullet proof glass?

Do any dealers that have a brick-n-mortar shop have bullet proof glass? With the concern of being robbed, you invest in safes, maybe an alarm system, etc. How about if you have some windows, is is bullet proof or somehow reinforced glass? I won't want someone throwing a brick through the window, and taking a sledge hammer and breaking the glass to get in.

There is now available "Hurricane proof" glass that from what I hear is next to impossible to break.
Very popular in hurricane areas, I'm not sure if it is available nationwide.

There is also a special kind of window film that can be applied to the interior of the window that makes
it very difficult to break through, it holds most of the glass together after getting hit by something.
Not impossible to break through but meant to greatly slow down and frustrate someone trying to get in.

Mich is right--bullet proof glass is glass with layers of film in between each layer. One inside layer will help somewhat, but not much.

Yeah, but they will leave $40,000 of coins in a metal case in their rented Ford Escort as they enjoy dinner at Denny's after a coin show!

Or, their 'trusted' employee of umpteen years disappears one day with $80,000 in Morgans.

More is lost to carelessness, internal theft, etc. than to the gun wielding bandits.
