    The coin is .720 fine silver and .1929 of an ounce of the metal. The 2006 Krause lists it at $5.50 in Unc and $6.50 in BU. There were 41.512 million minted that year.

    The Standard Catalog of World Coins by Krause is available at many libraries or for sale on Ebay.com, Half.com and other web sites including the publisher's.
    It comes in several editions, each of which covers one century of the world coins isssued during that period (1601-1700, 1701-1800, 1801-1900, 1901+).

    Some older (1995) Krause's cover more than one century.
    The addition of NCLT (Non-Circulating Legal Tender) "coins" made solely for collectors is responsible.

    Yep, the '96 edition was, unfortunately, the last to cover 1801+.

    Heh. I still have my 1996 edition since it was the last 2-century volume... I don't refer to it much, but it reminds me of a "better time" from Krause... image
