Wow. Today is the day for getting goodies in the mail. Board member gyocomgd recently published a book on a non-numismatic topic--golf. Because I am equally passionate about golf as I am about coins (see last year's interview of Mrs. Longacre in Golf Digest where she comments on my golf passion (I was not too happy with some of her comments)), gyocomgd was kind enough to send me an autographed copy of his book. It was not only autographed, but also contained a nice personalized inscription on the inside page. Pretty cool stuff. Gyocomgd lives very close to me, and we are planning on playing a little golf this summer.
Because he is a good guy and a fine contributor to these boards (and probably too embarassed to plug the book himself), there are some facts--it's already #2 among all sports books, and #150 overall, out of more than a million titles, after just a few days of release. In the book world, that's meteoric! If anyone is interested, here is a link to Amazon: Buy the book before the tee time
To keep this numismatically related, here is a picture of a coin :

I always look at the cool colors at Augusta and imagine they are all toned coins
