Ever see this kind of VAM? It Looks like a dollar sign on the last S of States on the Reverse. Its on a circulated Morgan in a GSA soft pack.

Not sure what VAM it might be but, I'm relatively sure it's a coin minted sometime between 1878 & 1921. I'm also willing to bet it has no mint mark, or, possibly an S, CC or O mint mark.

I hope this narrows it down enough for you to figure it out for yourself.

Could be toning, the photos are too poor to tell. Otherwise possibly a die gouge from the rim
through the S. I wouldn't bid before confirming with the seller.
