Box of 20

Since I can not afford to have all my coins graded...I am going to make a box of 20...I will try to pick the more rare dates and if they do not meet my grade then I will pick out more common that do...but my goal is to pick the rarest of my sets.

    Good luck.

I have consolidated quite a bit in the last two years. I liquidated most of my accumulation/collection and am concentrating on the box of 20 ideal.

Only probelm is - my box needs room for 40 at this point image

I have never been one to limit the size on my collection.....

Purchase what you like period and go from there.....

Get the coins that are worth being graded, graded and the rest keep raw, why waste money.....

This statement seems contradictory. Why not pick the rarest coins - regardless of grade?
  • Well what I meant was the rarest in the highest grade...see some coins are not rare in lower grades but they are in higher grades...and yes key dates are to be included in the box of 20.
  • Yeah I can imagine that one box of 20 will not work..two or three maybe! But still it cuts the fat out and you get down to the real meat of the matter...and it also isolates the more valuable from the common...so if anything happens to me notes can be left on the boxes explaining the boxes of 20 and coins inside.
