I have been getting some people shipping wax boxes to me via media mail. Can we ship cards via media mail?? It's a lot cheaper than parcel post!
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

media, but it just sounds to me that someone is trying to save some money at the PO

<< <i>Its also against the law. Media mail is for just that media. Im not sure if there is some loophole in that cards can be considered

Information!:
Looking for Jonny Gomes cards, especially Triple Threads and printing plates. Will consider all cards, though. Got something? Contact me at c_u_l_1@yahoo.com
Media Mail® service is a cost efficient way to mail books, sound recordings, recorded video tapes, printed music, and recorded computer-readable media (such as CDs, DVDs, and diskettes). Media Mail can not contain advertising except for incidental announcements of books. The maximum weight for Media Mail is 70 lbs.
The post office that I used has this xerox copy of an article that shows the USPS is cracking down on fraudulent Media Mail. This printout is taped at every clerk window and the picture shows a USPS worker busting/opening up boxes to uncover false Media Mail. Basically if you get caught; you're going to do some time or fine.
I wouldn't chance it.

I appreciate a good wrapping job, but when you need to take the package to your workbench to open it, it is a little much. I would never ding anyone for it in feedback, but I have seen a couple of sellers that really go overboard.
<< <i>Speaking of shipping. I have had a few packages lately that I got quit a kick out of. They were just single $20-25 graded cards but when I got the package you would have thought they were send the flippin Hope diamond!

Lol, That was probably me, Lately I have been sending cards wrapped in two pieces of cardboard, with bubble wrap around that, in a box with styrofoam pellets wrapped again in paper or more bubble wrap in a box taped with the brown sticky tape Psa uses on thier boxes. It is probably a little overboard but i would rather be safe. I charge $3.50 for shipping, always use delivery confirmation and if the card is over $40 bucks I get insurance even if they dont. I should just start shipping in a bubble mailer I guess, But, Hey, I can get the boxes for about as much as a bubble mailer and most of the time I get a box free from prior auctions or PSa.
Do you ship via the Post office or UPS? If you ship prioroty mail, their boxes are free, no need to buy boxes.
<< <i>I ship usps, But all I ever see are those flat carboard mailers, Ivr never seen an actual box they let you have. >>
If you get on the USPS website and setup a free account with them, you can order supplies delivered to you for free, including boxes.

<< <i>Hmm, so, what if you saved a copy of the invoice on a CD-R and included it with the cards? Technically, you'd be shipping electronic media, along with other stuff.

Only problem here is the "other stuff" isnt media and cant be shipped media mail. Lets see you explain that logic to a p.o.'d postal worker. They would probably whip out an assault rifle and take you out.
