Non paying bidder?

How long do you have to wait before you can file a non paying bidder complaint agains someone on eBay. I've got a winner who refuses to answer emails and hasn't paid on an auction that only accepted Paypal for payment.

7 Days after the auction close you can file an Unpaid Item dispute.

Wait another 7 days and you can get your final fees back

Here's a tip: If you going to accept PayPal only, use the "immediate payment" option in the auction listing to avoid these problems. The auction will not end until the auction is paid.
  • ebaytrader, is that true? Say I'm the high bidder when an auction ends but I'm not online at the time. Are you saying that the auction continues past the end time?? Please explain.
    can't get enough!!!

Actually the auction ends when the buyer clicks "Commit to Buy". It then goes to the PayPal "Pay Now" screen, which you can just close and pay later.

Not using PayPal, that's my cue to move on to the next auction and never look at the seller's stuff again. I'm probably not the only one. Just another thing to consider image
