Here's smoething you should know if you pay w/ USPS M.O.'s

I had a USPS M.O. take about 4 weeks to go from IL to FL, so I put a M.O. status inquiry into the P.O. (costs $3.15 to do this).

In doing so I learned that if the purchaser/sender of the M.O. does not completely fill out the to/from info (complete names and address's of the remitter and payee), the P.O. can and will deny your claim if the M.O. gets lost or stolen. Even if someone cashes it and is an obvious forgery, if the complete info is not there... you lose!

I can't even begin to count the number of times I have rec'd. USPS M.O.'s with only the name of payee, no other info.

In one case, I even rec'd. a M.O. w/ no payee name... completely blank... which is tantamount to sending cash!
