Important Note: New Look for PSA/DNA

- March 27, 2006

Due to the overwhelming response to our autograph authentication and encapsulation service, we have created an entirely new look for this service. Effective immediately, all autographs that are sent in for this service such as signature cuts, album pages, index cards, checks, unlicensed cards, etc. will receive a unique blue PSA/DNA label. This will replace the red PSA label currently utilized for trading card and ticket grading.

Be sure to submit the above items on a separate PSA/DNA submission form from other memorabilia for authentication. Licensed trading cards and tickets will need to be submitted on a separate PSA submission form.

Contact our customer service department if you have any questions at 800-325-1121

That's the first thing that came to mind.. If I put my newly designed signature cut cards on eBay and they have the new blue label will people see the blue label in the gallery pic and pass, thinking it's from some momo outfit and not PSA/DNA? erm.. maybe some at first but that it will pass as people get used to them.

Do a quick search on Ebay for PGS graded stuff, looks just like the PSA label, just blue.

    You mean this Blue Label?

  • Well, they have just lost me as a customer.

With James Spence over at SGC, the only thing that has me submitting to PSA/DNA is keeping the slabs uniform in apperence.

Changing the label screws this up completely. I display my slabs and having them half blue and half red will look amateurish.

    Way to go PSA/DNA.

I wonder how much it's cost me to crossover everything to SGC.

Dumbest thing PSA has EVER done. And that's saying a lot.

The Mylar bag to me is amateurish ! Why on Earth has PSA not fixed it is beyond me. I will not submit anything for grading that I know is going into the mylar. I would guess all they have to do is get a custom fit sleeve that fits into their 52 to 56 Topps size and its fixed on all cards that are smaller? The reason it waves at you is that it overlapes the seem.
