Bring the sunglasses -- the tonining is brilliant on several of these coins..... The top two PCGS Set Registry Ike sets will be displayed at the upcoming Long Beach, California Coin, Stamp & Collectibles Expo, June 1 - 3, 2006. Here's a link to the announcement:

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Smoeone post Ike pics
I'd love to see Mr. Wang's as well!....But, I am afraid if I saw that many fantastic Ikes
all at once....I'd probably pass out!
I commend PCGS for setting up events like this! I think it is great that they can display collections
at major shows and give collectors a chance to see such wonderful sets. It can ony enhance the hobby.

I LOVE PEG-LEG & ERROR IKES!
Brian, I have to agree about seeing that many super Ikes. Ikes are the only coins that I collect as a series.
Everything else, I collect the " Key " coins as " type ". However,
nothing ever gave me as much satisfaction as collecting Ike dollars.
JC has some remarkable coins, starting with his PKOK 74-D.
It'll great to see how the collecting community embraces "moderns"
Fun seemed to work well, and I'm just glad that PCGS is givng the west cost guys AKA Slugfootball, the opportuntiy to view the sets as well.

Finest Toned Ike I've Ever Seen, been looking since 1986
PCGS is going to take the photos on all coins. Don't know whether they will publish the photo or not (or even before the show ;-)
It is so nice to see so many PKOK members re-union.
Do you have a link to the PKOK thread that you spoke about?

What the heck is a PKOK?
I'd LOVE to see James' set, he's a great guy with a good eye for outstanding Ike's. As hard as it is, he has turned me into a fan of one of the two bald guys' coins. I'm searching for those elusive type 2-1972 Ike's and have been successful. Now, I'm also looking for and finding the peg legs too. Look at his set and get a glimpse of what beauty can look like on a modern. I don't think anyone can capture the beauty in a photograph, but could be wrong. Congratulations to James on having his set back on display, it deserves it. There are a few other top sets I'd like to see PCGS put on display. How about having PCGS display what they think are the top 5 sets all at one show? Perhaps they can have three shows in a year, one for east, mid and west America shows?
How about having PCGS coming out east and giving us two months notice so I can arrange to see it too! Ray
