What would it take to complete a year set of OBW rolls?

One roll of every mintmark and denomination (including gold) for say, 1914, or any year before 1916? Would it even be possible? How much would it cost?

I dont think an origional bank roll of that date for of every denomination and mint mark is in existance. Good grief, the 14-D and S cents alone would be enough to cause pause to the endevor. ...but I dont think they exist anymore.

  • Every denomination $.01-$20.00. All OBW rolls. All mintmarks. Any year from 1909-1932.

    Not possible, IMHO.

I'd guess there are more datesa available before 1916 then you might think. Getting them
together would be an incredibly difficult and expensive proposition. Such rolls come on the
market very rarely and would normally be dispersed (or at least opened) very quickly.

  • Cladking: That is a shame. If I ever came upon a roll like that I would never open it. I would rather rpeserve the history.
  • You might have a shot at a year 1928 to 1930. Anything else, yeah right!
  • What about the denominations would be the hardest to get? The gold I would think.
  • $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, if possible, but I WOULD SAY NO!!!
  • Check with Laura at Legend, she is the market maker. If anyone could put it together, she could.

But...that would be a lot of bucks.
